Thanks for the tanks!

The tanks have completely filled during the recent rainy season and are providing water for the vegetable gardens that give our children the most nutritious meals they have ever eaten, as well as drinking and bathing water. We expect to have enough water in the tanks to get us through the dry months that precede the next rainy season in February. Thank you MIMN for helping us achieve water sovereignty!

This is such a huge gift to the children - who have never had water to drink at the school, and never had vegetables as a regular part of their diet before. We now have two servings of vegetables each week and are aiming for five servings by end-2009. What a difference! Thank you so much MINM.

Howdy Sabina folks! I just came across another organization called Project Focus (http://www.projectfocus.org/updates.php) that seems like it would be great to collabroate with - especially because they are about to take some permaculture courses in the US this summer and will probably need to connect with folks on the ground doing it! Here's their blog post... http://www.projectfocusprogress.blogspot.com/
